Why take bellydance classes with Sonia?

Sonia offers a unique experience in her classes by focusing on on a number of topics.  Sonia understands that bellydance, known in Arabic as "raqs sharqi," literally translates to "eastern dance" and is just one of many dance forms to emerge from "the east."  Class time will always focus on bellydance technique as well as giving students a wider appreciation of the myriad forms of dance from North Africa to the Persian Gulf.
